Fray Bernardino de Sahag\u00fan tuvo acceso al conocimiento de los pueblos mexicas asentados en Tenochtitl\u00e1n de manera cercana y fidedigna pues sus informantes estuvieron inmersos en el desarrollo de esta cultura.
