Investigaci\u00f3n que pretende abrir una perspectiva para mostrar y entender a aquellos migrantes mexicanos que fueron diagnosticados como enfermos mentales e internados en los manicomios de Stockton y Mendocino entre 1855 y 1942. Se retoma la propuesta de periodizaci\u00f3n de estos flujos migratorios como posibles marcos explicativos bas\u00e1ndose en la pregunta de si existe un v\u00ednculo entre el fen\u00f3meno de migraci\u00f3n y la prescripci\u00f3n de la enfermedad mental, habiendo entonces una correspondencia entre el incremento de migraci\u00f3n a Estados Unidos y el n\u00famero de mexicanos internados en manicomios de California.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
