The language is directly linked to the thoughts, ideas, beliefs and traditions of its speakers, which is why it is essential to maintain it in order to preserve the culture of indigenous peoples. With the intention of preserving knowledge of the Yoreme-Mayo indigenous language (Yorem Nókki) used mainly in Sinaloa and Sonora areas, the author created this dictionary where words are collected and translated directly into Spanish.
