This project was the winner in the Cultural Studies area in the 10th Edition of the Program for the Promotion of Cultural Projects and Co-investments of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts. Since its earliest days, Cholula was characterized by the diversity of shapes and designs given to clay, achieving its creative peak in the last centuries before the arrival of the Spanish by participating in the generation of the famous Mixteca-Puebla style. This research on Puebla pottery is accompanied by photos and color illustrations that show the symbolic variety used by the Cholultecas to express their worldview.
