Product information

As a collaboration between the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the University of Texas at Austin, 9 essays are presented here that bring together concerns, experiences, explorations, proposals and perspectives on the revitalization of some of the continent's indigenous languages. Among the authors are writers, activists and people trained in academia, who belong to indigenous communities or have close ties to them. Throughout their texts they raise the relationship of languages with the community, the State, non-governmental organizations, indigenous and pan-indigenous movements, as well as the postcolonial societies of which they are part.
