Compilation of 5 short stories, interviews and statements by women of the Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional (Zapatista Army of National Liberation) in the first months of the military uprising of 1994. These texts show the situation of indigenous women in mexican territory and how they end up finding refuge and strength in the ranks. "No nos dejen solas" (Don't leave us alone) is the cry of Ana María, Infantry Major, which she gives along with the other women of the EZLN movement to be heard inside and outside their communities. This fight has been maintained despite machismo, racism and capitalism, reinforcing among its members the feeling of belonging and progress towards a more just society for minorities.
