Melissa Nungaray is a prolific mexican poet and storyteller who studied Hispanic Language and Literature at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. In 2014, she won second place in the Jorge Lara National Young Poetry Prize and has collaborated in various magazines in the poetry section. The title presented here was written when the author was 13 years old, and brings together a series of 25 short poems in which she makes forceful statements and assertions for a teenager her age, dealing with the harsh vision of the life of she. Being part of La Cartonera, this copy is number 85 of a print run of 125, with a handmade binding and a unique hand-painted cover.
