This volume compiles edited versions of all the final reports prepared by Chilean rural teachers selected by the Ministry of Education, Republic of Chile, through the Foreign Scholarship Program for Education Professionals who participated in the Internships in “Analysis and Management of Intercultural Bilingual Education,” held in Oaxaca in 1998 and 1999. The premise that group teachers can be the best researcher and analyst of the teaching and learning processes they foster has encouraged specific experiences such as these Internships, which can have great innovative potential.
