Product information
The initial purpose of this text –originally published in 1944– was to support the literacy fervor that arose after the Mexican Revolution, at the beginning of the 20th century. Essentially aimed at the reader who is beginning his journey through letters –whether child or adult– one can find here a secular guide, respectful of particular beliefs, which contemplates notions of anthropology, politics, sociology and civics under the liberal spirit of civility among citizens of a certain society. These pages summarize a creed of social coexistence in Mexico detected and proposed by the author that, despite the years, remains valid.
