Product information

The topic of rituality and music in cathedral celebrations has been discussed by different scholars who are part of collective research projects. Here we offer a series of reflections on this matter that are testimony to the colloquium “Celebration and sonority in the new-Hispanic cathedrals” organized by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the Conservatorio de las Rosas in 2014. These texts seek to find coincidences between the different fields of study and promote relationships between researchers from different disciplines, around musicology, art history, sociology and anthropology.
