This is a reissue of the Libro de Cocina attributed to Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, based on the 1979 edition produced by historians Muriel de González Mariscal and Guadalupe Pérez San Vicente. This title can be considered a recipe book in its own right, while also serving as a document that reflects the history of the roots of Mexican cuisine and contributes to the cultural heritage of humanity that is Mexican cuisine. In addition, this edition consists of only 150 copies, features artisanal binding, illustrations, engravings by Nacho Gómez Arriola, and includes a prologue written by Sol Rubin de la Borbolla.
