Product information

Trying to explain natural disasters is not possible through a purely natural perspective. In this book we can find views from various authors who approach the topic from the study of natural disasters themselves, not as a momentary crisis, but as a process whose construction is social. Despite the notable differences between these 11 texts, common points can be found, mainly they recognize the vulnerability factor as a central element. Likewise, they highlight the importance of knowing the territory in which these events occur and the right to self-management. Taking into account those affected and generating empathy with vulnerable groups.
