Product information

Plural magazine emerged in 1971 as an initiative of the administrators and collaborators of the Excélsior newspaper, under the direction of Octavio Paz, who had in mind creating a publication open to the world. Under this premise, Plural became the axis of Latin American intellectual life, which for five years received contributions from the greatest spanish-speaking writers and critics, as well as the most renowned representatives of universal literature. This title reviews the history of the magazine, highlighting the political and cultural conditions that contributed to its emergence and also to its sudden closure.
