By belonging to the Missionaries Congregation of Scalabrini, Flor María Rigoni assumes the mission of the association: to welcome, accompany and care for everyone who leaves their land – migrants, refugees, deportees, sailors, among others. After three years of being on cargo ships and ten years in Germany, the author arrived in Tijuana where he founded the first of three Casas del Migrante.
