In order to learn more about indigenous writers, painters, sculptors, luthiers, artisans and potters, the State Center for Indigenous Languages, Art and Literature developed this project called Ijtkutya’b: Ways of Life. This volume compiles profiles of indigenous potters from various linguistic groups in the state of Chiapas, where one can appreciate the learning, the tools, as well as the process of their activity in this artistic branch.
