This is the second edition of the work published in 1957, constituting a clear example of the best Mexican historiography of the 20th century, providing the reader with multiple aspects that influenced the development of the Mexican population, deeply marked by the religious phenomenon. This research is divided into four parts to explain in detail the beginning and development of the town of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, being a Marian sanctuary that housed the Virgin of Guadalupe, whose devotion was deeply rooted in New Spain.
