This research aims to approach regional history through the stories and the different traces left by the actors themselves – in this case, seven women from Jalisco from the 20th century –, following the path traced by their most immediate context: their family formation. and religious, the beliefs and customs in which they were educated, their ideas and dreams about what they expected from their social, economic and cultural environment. The title of the book aspires to unravel the historiographic exercise that the authors carried out: bringing the reader closer to the present from the narrative construction, seeking to understand the social fabric based on the action of women in history.
