Product information

The authors wrote the history of the Association of Indigenous and Afro-Mexican Women of Acapulco to achieve visibility for this group of women who respond to economic, social and environmental problems. This research allows us to have firsthand the individual stories and the common history of the women who for several decades arrived in Acapulco from the Mountains, North, Center and the coasts of Guerrero. In this way, the authors manage to bring the reader closer to a reality rarely present in the collective unconscious: the existence of a sector that organizes, fights and faces obstacles to redefine its path.
