The Museum of Contemporary Art of Oaxaca proposes to observe the painting of Armando García Núñez not as a type of direct interpretation but as the construction of perception; the experiment that the museum proposes is not about the landscape itself, but about the author's own gaze. Throughout these pages, color reproductions of the paintings of García Núñez are shown, who clung all his life to a theme and a style already discarded by the European avant-garde. The purpose of this exhibition and of this title is to find the renewal of the museum's spaces to seek new ways of understanding art without the limits of its time and to agree that art offers a world different from that of representation.
