The Xochitécatl project consisted of an archaeological exploration of the ceremonial center of Xochitécatl, carried out between January 1993 and November 1994. The activitie worked were multidisciplinary in nature, bringing together archaeologists, restorers, biologists, soil scientists and technical specialists in various areas. The general objectives of this project, as set out in this title, were: to understand the cultural dynamics of the pre-hispanic site in relation to its natural and social environment, to reconstruct the ways of life and patterns of daily behavior and to recover the vestiges of human activity in order to make them available to the public.
