Edgar Adrián Mora has been winner of the María Luisa Puga National Young Fiction Prize (novel), the UACM 2005 National Young Fiction Prize (story) and the 33rd prize from the magazine Punto de Starting (essay and chronicle). In this title the author brings the popular memory of the mountain region of Puebla, to offer nine stories that answer part of the questions about the origins of the settlers, when speaking with its people and their customs. In these stories, stories are taken up from corrupt politicians who fight with archaeological finds, dragons guardians of the Nahua-Mexica culture to New Spanish playwrights who personify caste inequality.
