José Carlos Monroy has been a translator for the SEDEREC of the Government of Mexico City and stands out in that field with his translation prize in the 1x1 Contest organized by the UNAM Poetry Newspaper. This is copy number 48 of a print run of 100 and consists of 14 poems written as a sonnet, in a bilingual Nahuatl-Spanish edition. In these verses, the author tells us about ancestral places in Mexico City and the State of Mexico, accompanied by photographs of these spaces. This edition belongs to La Cartonera, so its manufacture is a handmade work bound in cardboard with a unique cover.
