Product information

Collection of popular lyrics that made up the complete repertoire of a corridero of yesteryear in the regions that are today the states of Mexico, Puebla, Morelos and Guerrero. In its pages it compiles 170 pieces that include corridos, pelotas, songs, couplets, duels, limericks, octaves, greetings, dedications and esdrújulos; as well as a series of plates where you can see photographs that cover the years between 1800 and 1900. Unlike other studies, this one has a collection of local and regional character, that is, it is a complete collection of a corrido singer who played that role activity in a specific, precise region, whose social, economic and cultural characteristics can be known.
