Product information

The purpose of the authors in these texts is to approach the environment of children during the second half of the XVIII century until the beginning of the XX century, in an investigation that analyzes documents, images, testimonies and narratives. The topics they cover range from children's games, educational projects, child labor, the vision that adults have towards childhood, to the laws that have been enacted in their favor. The stories told here seek to address the particularities of filial relationships in order to reflect on how these practices have not always been subject to the guidelines of current XXI century discourse.
