Product information

Since the migrant indigenous groups settled and consolidated in the border region of the San Quintín valley, their ethnic identity, their sense of belonging and even their religious beliefs have been adapted and resignified. These groups come from the Copala region in Oaxacan Mixteca and are known as Triquis. With a socio-anthropological and ethnographic perspective, the communal reformulation is shown, evidencing the struggles of the indigenous peoples of Mexico, along with their process of reconfiguration of the country's ethnic territories, ethnic difference, religious affiliation and their civil and labor rights.
