Product information

The knowledge of the religiosity that characterized some mesoamerican archaeological cultures is based on the records of the visual image, or, in the best of cases, on writings. These documents, called “codices,” allowed the transmission and preservation of the Mesoamerican culture and worldview. This title contains the works of 12 authors whose research is focused on the mesoamerican codices that were created in Central Mexico since pre-hispanic times. Through the research included here, approaches are presented from which it is possible to approach the study of mesoamerican codices, also providing new information about it.
