Product information

This investigation analyzes the consequences and scope of the misinformation that was recorded due to the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic in Mexico. Given the uncertainty caused by the disease, misleading and false narratives emerged about it, coupled with the lack of verification of sources in the face of immediacy, the rapid dissemination under the guise of news, caused panic and misinformation to spread in a short time. This work seeks to explain how and in what sense social networks have transcended traditional face-to-face legislative, political and social forums, as well as those linked to traditional media.
