The Gelman Collection is the fruit of a collaboration of more than forty years between the couple Jacques and Natasha Gelman. Between November 2001 and April 2002, the exhibition Kahlo, Rivera, Orozco, Siqueiros and the Color of the Century was presented at the Galería de Arte Contemporáneo de Puebla. It was made up of works from the Gelman Collection of Contemporary Mexican Art and presented a wide range of plastic registers and artistic forces that influenced the development of Mexican modernism during the XX century. This title is a reproduction of that exhibition, being a bilingual edition since it has introductory texts and biographies of the artists in English and Spanish.
