Product information

On September 11, 1973, the government of President Salvador Allende, who had been elected on September 4 of the previous year representing the Popular Union, was overthrown by a coup d'état. Hours before this event, Allende gave statements over the radio to give what would later be known as his last words, as he decided to take his own life rather than be tortured by the military. This title brings together these last statements, along with the written documentation of the announcements that were made about the event. Being part of La Cartonera, this copy is number 73 of a print run of 80, with a handmade binding and a unique hand-painted cover.
