This research was achieved by the author thanks to a collection of documents gathered from very different places, which together make up a mosaic of cultures that denote the great richness of pre-Hispanic myths. Among these documents there are works composed by indigenous people and Spaniards during the 16th century, being a set of sources written in Latin characters whose contents are the basis of what the author presents here today. The stories of the gods and myths of Mesoamerica have often been ignored or left aside, however their richness and significance is a cultural heritage that must be rescued and known to enrich the conception of our history.
