“Ek Balam” is a project that emerged that the authors started with the intention of using fantasy, science fiction and the culture of various world mythologies to narrate an adventure and try their luck in the world of Mexican comics; In the beginning it did not gain public interest, however with the appearance of Cómictlan it became a spearhead for other projects. The story of this comic begins with an feat that marked a turning point for the future of humanity, when Frensen's ambitions to dominate the planet and destroy those he once called brothers, clash with Ek Balam and his companions to stop the threat.
