The mask tradition in the State of Guerrero, Mexico is very strong, being a source of work that the peasant has adopted, with sculptors and artisans who dedicate themselves to this art in a systematic way. This research study presents interviews with mask makers from various areas of the state, since there reside great creators of masks that meet national and international demands to fill spaces in museums and cultural exhibitions. In addition, a graphic record is presented through photographs of the artistic production of religious and spiritual masks that represent ancestral traditions of the state.
