Product information

The contrast between the areas explored by women and men in the field of culture has given rise to a great proliferation of criticism and creativity in the second half of the twentieth century. It is in this context that the similarities and differences revealed in the conditions of life and cultural production in the literary sphere of authors such as Sylvia Iparraguirre, Adolfo Bioy Casares, María Luisa Bombal, Pablo Neruda, María Virginia Estenssoro, Laura Restrepo, among others, have been explored here. In this same sense, the USA with its Chicano literature and Brazil are overlooked, since they have been dealt with previously, focusing on South America, Central America, the Caribbean and French-Canadian literature.
