This title contains the uses, customs, traditions, history and other ethnological topics of the town of Ocotepec, located in the northeast of the Municipality of Cuernavaca. One of the purposes of this work is to present a document that can be used as a reference source for schoolchildren and for native inhabitants to show representative aspects of their family and social coexistence, so that they can carry out a self-analysis and evaluation of their current development status. During the years 2003 and 2004, interviews were conducted with more than 100 inhabitants of the town, from which heterogeneous background information was obtained on the characteristics of their coexistence and idiosyncrasies, which are discussed here.
