Product information

The work presented here has the purpose of being an ethnography about the mythical and ritual complex that, in the community of Ninkiní, located in the state of Campeche, is dedicated to two sacred entities, which occupy a preeminent place in the local pantheon. The author was interested in filling part of the gap in knowledge about the mayans settled in Campeche, so he set out to learn more about the community and began field research that eventually resulted in this title. Likewise, he sought to privilege the voices of the Nunkinians who granted him interviews and conversations and told him about the meanings and attributions of these sacred symbols.
