Homero Adame is a writer and photographer, he is not an anthropologist, translator or interpreter, so this work is unique: he collects those voices scattered on both sides of the silver road, listens and repeats what he receives without intervening in the transcription. Here are collected stories and facts that were rescued from the rural population and transmitted from one generation to another. This title was the winner of the National Prize for Story, Myth and Legend “Andrés Henestrosa” 2007, convened by the Government of the State of Oaxaca and CONACULTA, seeking the preservation of the memory of indigenous communities and peoples.
