Carla Fernández was born in the Northern Border and, as a result of her travels around the country, as well as the cultural heritage of her parents, she developed an interest in indigenous clothing, Mexican costumes and textiles. Her interest in colors, shapes and patterns led her to study the making of garments to later open her own fashion workshop, where she sought to capture her research and creativity. This publication brings together illustrated patterns, photographs of the creation process and of her garments made at the Flora Workshop. It is also a bilingual English-Spanish edition.
