This novel was one of the six selected within the Support for Culture Program in its Support for State Cultural Institutions 2023 section of the Ministry of Culture. The author tells the story of how Estela leaves a mark on Hernán's soul and life, falling in love with him, but leaving him to go with her former best friend, Rarrá. However, disappointment in love is not what moves the characters, but rather an irreparable loss: Estela's suicide. Fanny Orrantia Dworak is originally from Sinaloa and this is her first novel, where she is in charge of narrating different perspectives of the same story, going through friendship, love, absence and death.
