Product information

The case of stone sculpture made in central Mexico during the XV and XVI centuries has stood out and attracted the attention of generations of researchers. It is known that the end of sculptural art was in most cases religious, political, ethnic and temporal reference to specific events, but it is also known that it was in the Basin of Mexico during the Postclassic, specifically in Tenochtitlan, they stood out as it was a production center. This work proposes a method for the identification and interpretation of 152 sculptures, many of them fragmented and decontextualized, some exhumed from the Templo Mayor.
