Product information

This work tells the story of Juan Diego, the Chichimeca peasant chosen by the Virgin of Guadalupe to be her messenger and to mediate on her behalf with Bishop Zumárraga, thus erecting her temple on Tepeyac Hill. The author of this title seeks to show the immensity of the art that has been created based on the Virgin of Guadalupe and Juan Diego, her interpreter, as well as the impact she left on the Mexican people and on history. Here, fragments of works, color reproductions of paintings and photographs about the history of the Guadalupe miracle are gathered.
