This work is the result of research carried out by Arturo Chamorro, in the years 1998-2005, after having gone together with a pioneer group to investigate the so-called “Remote Region” due to the little knowledge and research there was about it. In this field work, the author carried out the rituals of Huichol friendship, talked with the Wixaritári and observed with the gaze of an ethnologist what the culture is like in their daily lives. He also made a record of voices and instruments while reflecting on the performances that are practiced, as well as recovering descriptions of the environments and the environment.
