Mario Bojórquez is a poet, essayist and translator, winner of awards and considered one of the most talented poets of his generation. This series of poems are called by their author “documentary poems,” which cover what is known about the missing students of Ayotzinapa. Supported by notes from national newspapers, journalistic research books, documentaries and government reports, the author does prior documented research in order to give voice to the characters in his poems and to narrate within poetry the story of a young man accompanied by his nahual throughout that early morning of September 26, 2014.
