As a result of the Urban Archaeology Program, informative documents are presented here from excavations carried out between 1900 and 2000 in the Cathedral and the Tabernacle of Mexico City, during which 23 offerings associated with some of the pre-Hispanic buildings that formed part of the sacred precinct of Mexico-Tenochtitlán were recovered. The author offers very valuable information about the Mixtec ceremonial, pre-Hispanic constructions, traditional offerings and worldview; as well as details of the chronology, symbolism, political and economic context of the materials used in their rituals and altars.
