In 1927, Diego Rivera was invited to Moscow to participate in the celebrations of the anniversary of the October Revolution; on that trip, his relationship with Soviet artists allowed him to create works that bear witness to this fundamental event in his career. In 1955, Rivera made a second trip during which he had a period of creativity in which he produced easel works and drawings. This title compiles works from that cycle that address in an unprecedented way crucial stages in Diego Rivera's creation, his personal and artistic evolution, as well as the different pictorial styles he developed. Accompanying these works are a series of analytical texts that contextualize and explain this period.
