Audomaro Hidalgo is a mexican poet, essayist and translator, winner of different scholarships, incentives and awards that have allowed him to specialize in literature and reside in France to continue his studies. As part of his research about literature, he brings together here the work of 33 writers from different regions of France in order to show a plural panorama of contemporary french poetry, since the editor firmly believes that there is still a way to go in the struggle against the centralism of the cities. Although they are not official symbols, naming this anthology of poems as “The Rooster and the Snake” alludes to the symbols of France and Mexico, respectively.
