Oral tradition is a form of cultural inheritance, resulting in oral literature, which is what is presented here. The stories included in this title are the result of a series of field practices carried out by the state of Tamaulipas, through which a group of researchers undertook the task of investigating, recording and filming the stories of each of the informants contacted, the true authors of these stories. There are a total of 150 stories from this project, collected from different places and municipalities in the state of Tamaulipas, however, those that fit the title of the book are gathered here: myths and legends.
